Biographical Info

Born:           1953 - Nagano, Japan

Education:  1972 - Majored in design at Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Training School

                     1972 -1979- Apprenticeship with Master Potter, Maseru Kamei

                     1979 -1980- Attended Saga Prefectural Ceramic Institute   (for cobalt painting on porcelain bodies)

Canada:      1981- Immigrated to Canada as a ceramic designer for the Kajima Chemical Company.

Studio:        1984 - present - Set up my own studio in Richmond, B.C.
